In addition to providing investment services, the Episcopal Foundation of Dallas offers direct financial support to the Diocesan community through an annual grant program. Since 1990, the Foundation has awarded over $3 million in grants benefiting parishes, schools, and other not-for-profit agencies throughout the Dallas Diocese.

While not a faith-based program, Aberg Center has been housed at St. Matthew's Episcopal Cathedral since 2002. The organization was originally founded by Charles Aberg and several other prominent St. Matthew's parishioners, and still boasts of several Episcopal church members as volunteers and key supporters. The foundation’s funding focuses on key areas of need relating to food insecurityhomelessness, and poverty. As such, the foundation identifies literacy as a key solution to these problems.
